Sophie Knox- Mom credited with stopping a potential school shooting

summary: Koeberle Bull, a mother in New Jersey, may have helped stop a potential school shooting in Kentucky. She says that one day she was facebooked messaged by Dylan Jarell. His profile picture was of him with a gun, and the messages were filled with vile & racist comments/threats about her three black children (she is white). Concerned, she called the Kentucky Police Department. On Thursday, the police met up with Jarell at his house, and they uncovered a lot of weapons. There were over 200 rounds of ammunition, a firearm, and 100 round high capacity magazine. There was also an attack plan. The police believe he was just about to commit a school shooting, and got a warrant to search his house. As more evidence, they discovered that he even researched how to do a school shooting. On Monday, he claims he is “not guilty”.

Analysis: I believe he is 100% guilty. Thankfully he was stopped before he did something terrible. This is why need to have stricter gun laws. There have been way too many shootings; there was another one at a synagogue the other day. This article was written by Kathyleen Joyce, a Fox News reporter. I am supprised to find an article like this on a right-leaning site bc typically CNN and Fox News only promote the stories that justify their viewpoints. Even though the article was written by a Republican company, the story is non biased and only states the facts; the comments on the article however are a mess of people fighting and generalizing one another.

  1. Thank god that guy was dumb enough to look up how to do a school shooting. It makes me happy that this mother was able to prevent a possible shooting though.

  3. I agree, I guess people don't know what the incognito/secret mode is. Also, this is one example of why you should almost ALWAYS go to the police. Even if you are unsure if the threats are true, everyone was extremely fortunate that the mother shared this information with the officials.

  4. Thank goodness for technology because it can help convict this man based on his search history. I don't even want to imagine what could have happened had Bull not called the cops.

  6. I feel very relief that the police took this serious and did a search on him and prevented from an event like this occurring. I also do believe that he should take charges on this and stay in prison for a while because we don't want people like this roaming around our neighborhood.- Yesenia Ramirez
