Gun injuries, numerous from assaults, sent 75,000 children and teens to emergency rooms over nine years at the price of almost $3 billion dollars.  More than 1/3  of the hurt children were hospitalized and 6% didn't make it. About 8,300 kids each year have gun related injuries.

"I don't know what more we need to see in the world to be able to come together and tackle this problem,"said Dr. Faiz Gani, a lead author and researcher at Johns Hopkins University medical school.

I agree with Dr. Faiz Gani we have to come together to take down this issue with guns. In this country it is so easy to get a gun and you are able to have it on you. In history through wars and rebellions guns have been in the picture. They used guns to help them win whatever issue the country or people were dealing with. Guns till this day is still hurting people and killing loved ones. We should be able to come together after all of this time to put a stop to guns and the effects  of it.

  1. It is a growing issue in our country and I really think we need to get gun purchasing and use to a minimum and have stricter gun laws.

  2. I agree that we need to come together to stop the deaths of these kids and teens. These kids would still be here if we had some sort of regulation and conttol of who can carry. Its unbelievable that it is easier for a kid to get their hands on a gun than get an education.
