The night before, the plane was reported to have had mechanical issues, however after minutes of work on it, it was said to be “Ready to fly.” Before the flight, the captain and co captain were both screened for drugs/ alcohol and they were both found NOT guilty, and both captains had over 5000 hours of flying experience. Officials are currently saying that is unlikely that anyone from the crash survived, as they have only found body remnants, plane debris, and personal items belonging to the passengers.

Analysis: This article was written by CNN employees and was last updated at 2:00 pm, on Monday, October 29, 2018. Since it was updated so recently, the information is most likely up-to-date. This can be related back to the couple of Malaysian plane crashes that occurred several years ago. Both Malaysia and Indonesia are very close to each other and share much of the same culture and ideology. This article was mainly written to keep us aware of the major events going on in our world. Without reading this article, I would have never known about this plane accident. This CNN article also keeps us informed of the casualties, death toll, and the why/how it happened.
