Summary~
Chicago recorded another violent weekend. Five people were shot fatally and 36 were injured. Chicago has struggled with high shooting and murder rates in recent years. Still, periods of intense gun violence occur.

Prior Knowledge~
I did hear about this in the news that there had been various shootings in different places.
Synthesis~
This reminds me of many similar shootings that have happened throughout the year in various different places. I think it’s really sad that this things keep happening all over the world. Just in one week there has been various shootings and it’s sad that it history keeps repeating itself. I feel like many people are trying to prevent this type of stuff to happen and it’s really difficult when many don’t cooperate.
