Pittsburg Shooting
A gunman opened fire in a Pittsburg synagogue which resulted in him killing 11 people and injuring 6 other. He had posted several anti Semitic things online saying he wants to kill Jews. He was arrested and presented in court after being held without bail. Officials want to charge hikm with the death penalty.
I find this person to be absolutely disgusting. He entered what is supposed to be a safe haven for many and completely infested it with hate and murder. On one hand I think a death penalty is a reasonable course of action for his punishment and would help many of the victims family receive but of closure. However, I also feel that making him rott the rest of his days away in a cell knowing he will never be able to see the light of day again as a free man would serve justice. I feel like death is almost too much of an easy escape for him and he should be forced to live the rest of his miserable life in complete isolation.
Too many times have we seen incidents like these that are driven by hate and only proves further for the need of stricter gun laws to prevent shootings anywhere.

We need to fix this age of innocent shootings because everybody deserves the right to live their life how they choose. It is deeply saddening that a woman, age 97, survived the Holocaust and ended up dying in AMERICA for the same reasons that millions of jews were killed decades ago.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you, he took the most valuable thing from these people, their lives. I cannot imagine how horrible the families of the deceased must feel right now. This man truly is disgusting.
ReplyDeleteI also do agree with re forcing laws because know days people can get easier access to guns. I also do agree in the idea that many innocent people lost their life due to this event that could have been prevented.-Yesenia Ramirez
