Obama urges Americans to give Trump a chance
Obama decides to let America know that Trump may have a few things he needs to work on, but people need to give him a chance. Obama thinks that with the team he had a president that things with trump will not get out of hand. The team Obama had was rather helpful and kind to him so he says that this transition to the new president should be smooth and welcoming for Trump because of how he was treated with Bush.
I think this is great way to keep some people from freaking out and doing extra stuff about Trump winning the election. Obama's team wouldn't let Trump do things that people on social claimed he would do or cause because some of that stuff is outrageous and unconstitutional. Obama is setting a respectful tone and being highly mature about the situation instead taking it down hill.
