A man was banned from Delta Air Lines after a video of him shouting obscenities on a November 22 flight went viral on Facebook. The man praised Trump and said some anti-Hillary remarks. The video reveals the man saying: "We got some Hillary b*tch-s on here?" and "he's your president, every g*dd*mn one of you. If you don't like it, too bad." Delta apologized to the flight's passengers in a statement Sunday, adding that the man should have been removed from the flight. Delta CEO Ed Bastian said the airline plans to refund the tickets of the other passengers and promised that the man in the video "will never again be allowed on a Delta plane."

This is frightening in the sense that tensions are rising and we are slowly becoming less of a union because of our differing views. People that aren't able to handle the outcome should be using their aggression in a different manner, whether that be protesting or starting a blog. It's innapporopriate to yell and insult people because of their views.

ReplyDeleteAlthough we have the first amendment, I don't think we should abuse it in such a way that uses words of anger and hate especially while someone is videoing you when you are well aware that you could be on social media.
ReplyDeleteYikes!!!!!!! THis is so scary, especially after a particularly divisive election, that there are still these angry sentiments towards those who don't share our political opinions. Though time may heal the rage displayed by this one individual, I hope it doesn't get any worse.
