Mackenzie Bessner- South Carolina city "creeped out" by suspected serial killer

Suspect Todd Kohlhepp was a real estate agent. Daren Owens bought three homes from Kohlhepp. About three months after Owens bought a final sale from his realtor, he and his family learned that his realtor confessed to killing four people and is now a suspected serial killer. Owens quotes, "This feels kind of strange having that kind of person sitting at your kitchen table, walking through your house, and the idea that during that whole time, he's got keys to our house and could've gotten in at any time is just very nerve-racking." In the little town of South Carolina, people knew Todd as a friend and a great real estate agent. Citizens were shocked about the news that bodies were found on his farm range and that a serial killer was living in their midst.

Before I read this article, I did not know about this event. It is crazy to me how one of your close acquaintances could be a deadly serial killer. This article was written to inform people all over the country about what is going on with the world. This article is very scary but I believe that it is necessary. People should be more aware on who they are with throughout their life and just be on the lookout. This article was published by CNN and it is a very reliable news network.

  1. WOW this is absolutely nerve racking and frightening. I totally agree with your analysis people aren't always what they appear to be. It's also hair-raising that this serial killer had the keys to this mans house!
