Ukraine Signs To End Crisis - Heather Harris 1st

EARLIER THIS WEEK IN KIEV, UKRAINE, THE GOVERNMENT AND OPPOSITIONS LEADERS SIGNED AN AGREEMENT TO END DEADLY FIGHTING THAT HAD BEEN OCCURING. AFTER THE SIGNING OF THE AGREEMENT, UKRAINE'S PARLIAMENT CUT THE PRESIDENT'S POWERS AND PASSED A BILL THAT COULD FREE IMPRISONED LEADER YULIA TYMOSHENKO. TYMOSHENKO WAS THE FORMER PRIME MINISTER THAT WAS SENT TO PRISON AFTER INTERNATIONAL OBSERVERS SAW A POLITICALLY MOTIVATED SHAM TRIAL. THESE CHANGES MADE BY CONSTITUTIONAL MAJORITY, THAT CAN NOT BE VETOED, SHOW A SHIFT FROM THE DAY BEFORE, WEHN PRESIDENT YANUKOVYEN ORDERED SECRUITY FORCES TO BATTLE ANGRY PROTESTORS DUE TO HIS OVER PIVOT TORWARD RUSSIA AND OTHER ISSUES.

IN MY OPINION, I FEEL THAT ALL THE PURPOSE FOR THE AGREEMENT MAY HAVE BEEN TO END THE DEADLY FIGHTING, THERE WAS AN UNDERLYING PURPOSE BEHIND THE AGGREEMENT. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT IT WAS JUST A SPARE OF THE MOMENT DECISON TO CUT THE PRESIDENT'S POWERS AND THEN RELEASE THE FORMER PRIME MINISTER THAT HAD BEEN IMPRISONED AFTER SACKING THE CURRENT ONE THAT WAS SERVING AT THE TIME. ONCE AGAIN, THIS IS NOT A COINDENCE.http://www.cnn.com/2014/02/21/world/europe/ukraine-protests/index.html?hpt=hp_t3
