Flu Hitting Young People Harder Than Ever-HEATHER HARRIS 1ST

NEWS REPORTS SAY THAT THE FLU IS HITTING PEOPLE HARDED THAN EVER. PEOPLE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 18 AND 64 REPRESENT 61% OF ALL FLU-RELATED HOSPITALIZATIONS. THIS IS A HUGE INCREASE FROM THE COMPARED 35% FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR, SAYS CDC. HOSPITAL OFFICIALS RECOMMEND THAT EVERYONE GO AND GET THE FLU VACCINE. THIS VACCINE REDUCES THE CHANCES OF HAVING TO SEE A DOCTOR BY 60%. ANYONE AS YOUNG AS 6-MONTHS OLD IS SAID TO BE VACCINED DUE 50 PEDIATRIC FLU DEATHS AND 3,000 TO 4,500 DEATHS ESTIMATED EACH YEAR BY THE CDC. THIS YEAR, LESLIE CREEKMORE OR ARKANSAS, CAUGHT THE VIRUIS WHEN SHE WAS 20 WEEKS PREGNANT. A WEEK LATER SHE MISCARRIED AND 3 WEEKS AFTER THAT SHE PASSED AWAY. EXPERTS SUGGEST THAT THE INCREASE IN FLU IN THE UNITED STATES WILL CONTINUE FOR SEVERAL MORE WEEKS AND THAT IT IS IMPORTANT FOR EVRYONE, INCLUDING PREGNANT WOMEN BE VACCINED. I COMPLETELY AGREE.
