Mom Charged After Her 1-Year-Old Son Drowns in Hurricane Florence: 'I Did Everything I Could'
Dazia Ideah Lee was charged with manslaughter after her 1 year old son drowned in a hurricane. During the hurricane she was holding on to him but her hands slipped and lost him the authorities found his body the next day 15 feet under water. Most people think that she deserves what she did since she didn’t follow the signs that had said to not pass yet she decided to anyway with her 1 year old son in the back seat.

I can see both sides here. Its likely that this woman was trying to move away from the storm, but I can also see why her negligence cannot go unpunished. Especially since a child died in the process.
