Last Week, a family's SUV was found at the bottom of a California cliff. Since then, Police have informed the media that it might have been deliberately driven off of the road. The bodies of the parents, Sarah and Jennifer Hart, both 38 were discovered inside the overturned SUV. Three of their six children were found ejected from the car, and the other three are missing. There were no reports from witnesses of the crash, so authorities don't exactly know how it happened, and it's unclear whether the three missing children were in the SUV when it plummeted 100 feet into the sea. Data from the car suggested that there had been approximately 70 feet of continuous acceleration from the last moment the breaks were applied before the SUV went off of the cliff.
This is so scary, I cannot imagine what this must have been like for these children. It makes me wonder if the parents have had previous issues before this happened. The article stated the parents had avoided encounters with CPS days before the incident. I hope the missing children are found, and the other three children rest in peace.

This is awful. It makes me wonder the parent's reasoning for doing something so terrible. I don't understand what could've made them think putting their children's lives in danger was okay.

ReplyDeleteThis is really freaky. I'm curious as to what the motives of the parents were, and why they would do such a thing to themselves and their children.
