Teen keeps playing fortnite as tornado rips through town

Summary: In Greensboro, North Carolina, there was a big tornado that ripped through the town on Sunday night. A boy named Anton Williams, however, didn't mind. He said he saw the destruction in front of him, and helped others (family) find shelter. Then, he went right back to playing Fortnite. Even though he was playing, he said he was still worried about the others around him. When he came outside, he said, no one appeared to be injured. The deadly tornado sadly took one life.

Analysis: Reading this may seem really funny, but this sense of oblivion has conjured up many questions. How important has internet become in over lives? One day... will no one care about the destruction around them and only of the online simulation they are a part of. They relates to the invention of technology (internet) throughout the late 20th century and 00s and it's effect on politics and American social life in Apush.
