Leslie Z-Auschwitz medic Hubert Zafke goes on trial at fourth attempt
The  95-year-old former SS medic has been appointed for a  trial in Germany. His previous trials were postponed because of health difficulties , his doctor stated that Zafke suffers from poor health , high blood pressured and suicidal  thoughts.Zafke is been implicated for the assassination of 3,681 people in Auschwitz camp. Hubert argues that he did indeed serve in the medical unit in the summer of 1944, but only treated wounded soldiers and S.S. officers. He did admit that he was aware of  the camp's massive murders .The remaining nazis that contributed in the World war two aren't close enough to declared them with  conventions now that all  the defendant is in their nineties.

The author of the article of the BBC news is trying to inform the people about a controversy  topic. As we all know  the world war II infamous history has impacted human history , by eliminating a wide range of jews in Germany .After all these years, there's still remain survivor's of the Nazi party,  but should survivors be punished for a crime committed about 71 years ago ? In my opinion, they should go to trial and face the consequences of their acts yet I don't think is needed anymore  cause ,I do believe there's no worst punishment than the guilt these individuals are caring in their conscience  .Although I knowledge that Germany was completely controlled by Hitler's dangerous words of persuasion ,the actions of each individual that contributed to the war were brainwashed to the point where the people rejected the ability to see the right from wrong.

  1. At the time, many of the Nazis didn't think they were doing anything wrong, unless they chose to kill and torture these people on their own accord, which could be quite possible in this case. But if he really does have suicidal thoughts, he probably does feel guilty about his actions. Plus, he's 95. It's kind of too late.

  2. This is a very controversial topic on whether or not he should be put on trial. On one hand, he did something terribly wrong. On the other hand, he is very old and probably deeply regrets what he did.
