Larissa Perez: Trump: We have to take the guns away from 'bad people'

SUMMARY: According to Trump he wants to take guns away from criminals and violent people. He says that there are gangs with illegal immigrants and are shooting people. He claims that there needs to be law and order and with that it will bring down violence. He uses Chicago a lot of an example of a place where a lot of violence is held. He also says "He went before a judge who was very against-police judge." it was said that it was taken away from the judge and the mayor and didn't go forward with a certain investigation. His argument is that we need to take guns away from violent criminals also because they are felons.
ANALYSIS: This article was published on September 26, 2016 by Daniella Diaz. I think he has a point on taking guns away from the criminals. However I think that they won't have enough time to go and get everyone who is a criminal and take away their guns. Hillary however does agree with Trump on this point.

  1. The problem is that, while I'm glad he spoke about gun control, there's no way of telling who's a criminal and who's not. Anyone can become a criminal. So I agree with you. It would be pretty impossible to take the guns away from every criminal.

  2. Trump also said that his solution to the gun problem would be "law and order." He also talked about stop and frisk, ignoring the fact that it was deemed unconstitutional. Painting the picture that people of color are bad- and deserve to have their right to bear arms taken away, takes away the rights guaranteed in the constitution.

  3. With what Trump said about gun control could help, how will you be able to tell who's good and who isn't. Gun ownership shouldn't be as easy as it now is and shouldn't be allowed to be carried with you 24/7
