Summary: Former actor on Grey's Anatomy, Isaiah Washington posted on twitter about a boycott. He wants all African Americans to stay home from work, school, shopping, and everything to make a statement. In his tweet he also talks about the recent trageic events in Tulsa. What is interesting is the date chosen by Washington is the day of the first presidential debate, predicted to be the most watched in history. Isaiah Washington's goal in this, is to keep everyone safe while making a statement on the American Judicial system.
Analysis/Synthesis: This article was published today and is very current. Maybe a reason for publishing this was to spread the news. I think that many people will participate but probably not everyone. It might help if other famous celebrities or political figures endorsed this. Especially our current president Barack Obama or Beyonce. I think it is a good way for people to share their options in a nonviolent way. A synthesis of this could be the Civil Rights Movement where they boycotted buses for there unfair treatment. Both events are doing something important for there beliefs and it could also connect to the colonists boycotts. Many times in history this has been done and made a huge impact in America, so maybe this will too.

I think that this is going to be a he impact in America too! I also agree with this event is similar to the Civil Right movement to stand up for what you believe in.
