Summary: My article written by Barbara Starr, described that an U.S. aircraft threatened iranian airspace and was threatened to be shot down. the plane, EP-3 and P-8 were flying over the Persian Gulf when these threats were made. The Iranians made several calls to the planes warning them not to fly over or in Iranian airspace or they would risk being shot down.
Analysis: I thought this was pretty crazy when i first read it, but i do believe that the U.S. planes should respect encroachment of Iranian airspace, although considering our aid for the Iranian people during war, I know shooting down our planes would not behoove them. U.S. official said we never crossed into their airspace, now wether thats true or not we've yet to hear. I think he's only saying that so he's not ridiculed by other people.
