Gray Breidenbach: Zika

Summary: my article, August 1,2016,  discusses more infections do to the recent out break of Zika. they were warning pregnant women to stay clear of the place, just north of downtown Miami. this virus has gotten so bad that the CDC has issued " an unprecedented warning" to wear bug protection.

Analysis: This article is beneficial to all people in the downtown Miami area. this is a serious problem in the U.S because this virus has the capability to be spread very fast. This has to be stopped now, because there are many place that have the same environment as Florida for Zika carrying mosquitos to thrive in!

  2. Its kind of a catch 22, because the Zika virus is bad for your baby, but Bug Spray is also not recommended to use while you're pregnant because it is literally made of poison, and it's not good for your baby either.

  3. I totally agree because you're affecting not only just the mother but their baby! Also it could move rapidly, therefore it could travel possibly across the country if no one stops it.

  4. The threat of Zika is very scary especially to those who are pregnant. People who live in humid areas like Miami are mostly in danger, which makes me wonder if Dallas has an increasing threat of this virus. Plus, i dont know how i would feel about wearing bug protection all the time.

  5. This is so sad for all of the pregnant mothers living around Miami. My old neighbor had to move away from Miami because she was worried about her soon-to-be newborns being at risk. Bug protection is not something people want to worry about, and it can get expensive. I hope that they will soon find a way to keep everyone safe from Zika virus.
