This describes how Donald Trump became racist at a young age, and how the environment he lived in contributes to this. Trump saw his father and the way he treated ''blacks'' and there for copied that behavior. No, this does not give him a right but their are always elements that lead to this way of thinking. Just as Hitler blamed Jewish for something that happened in his childhood, Trump takes action from the white outlook in the 50's that his parents taught him.

  1. Wow, that article is very insightful. And I do think it's very true that racism isn't something you're born with, it's something you grow up around, and something you're taught. I also really like your comparison of Trump to Hitler.

  2. I don't think that the comparison of Trump to Hitler is really the best analogy that could be used, or in the best of taste. Trump grew up around racism and copied it from his father like a normal child. Hitler grew up in the Jewish community and his hatred for Jews came later on in life (around his teens and twenties) because he felt that they were preventing his success. I'm not saying that what Trump is doing is right, but I don't thunk that a comparison to Hitler is the best way this could have gone. Comparison to Hitler in modern discourse is a serious problem and you can learn more about it here: https://youtu.be/A0ZyhPfBnNc
