Severe storms have been happening in Texas, northern Mexico, and southern Oklahoma. Rivers are flooding causing much damage and many deaths. Homes are destroyed, and buildings are damaged. Many families have lost loved ones and homes are flooded. Some schools are closed because of the flooding and many are now seeking shelter in a dryer place.
Other cities in Texas should receive these flood refugees with open arms. We as a state, let alone a country, should help out fellow citizens with their needs. Especially when they homes are being destroyed by tornadoes and freak storms. Prayers are going out to them.
