Going off my previous blog about the rainfall in Texas,
while there other states suffering from all this rain states like California
have been in a terrible drought for the past year and conditions have gotten so
bad that this story has had national attention. Much of California is made up
of farmer town. So this is not only affecting people in major cities but more
harshly the farmers who have owned the land for decades. The drought has
prevented these farmers from growing crops and supplying jobs in the community.
Situation like these not only do people lose money but ruins a community as well
due the loss in jobs many turn to drugs. California is really struggling and if
the conditions don’t get better soon they will need to seek help from our
national government.
