On the news lately, you will see the riots following Freddie Gray's death in Baltimore. Gray died in the custody of the Baltimore police department and no one is positive what happened. He was injured while he was in the police van and the whole thing is under heavy investigation. Things are looking like Ferguson.This could easily be tied to the civil rights movement in the 1960's. Even though African Americans had been freed from slavery in the late 19th century, they still had to fight for basic rights and equality through the 1960's and it seems like the fight still isn't over.
