Cop Cameras- Lauren Kuehmeier, Period 2

This article aims to discuss a possible solution to police brutality: cameras. The idea seems full proof and sensible, but after reading I’ve found that there is much more to be considered once the footage starts rolling on these cop cameras. Violating privacy and an end to police interaction are the biggest fears playing in to this argument.

Police brutality is currently at the top of America’s list for controversial subjects due to it’s connection with racism and unprovoked violence. Cops are the most likely to oppose because it’s a huge invasion of privacy. Those for are most likely those who have been victims of police brutality.
