Arrest Made in Ferguson Officer Shooting By: Zaria Chambers

An arrest has been made involving the two Ferguson officers who were involved in a shooting. Twenty year old Jeffery Williams was arrested Saturday night and was charged with two counts of first degree assault. Jeffery Williams was seen in many of the protest in Ferguson. Mr. Williams has had a long criminal record including stolen property. Many people helped with the capturing of Mr. Williams by dripping ,any hints as to where he would be located. Mr. Williams is being held on a 300,000 dollar bond and it's possible that he could be facing more charges. Both of the officers involved in the shooting both were rushed to the hospital and their wombs were treated.

This is ridiculous. It's so sad that many people have to resort to shooting at police officers to make them feel like they are doing something to make a difference. Im glad that this man was arrested because he obviously was a huge threat to the community. This can also be related to gun laws and who should be able to carry guns and use them. I'm glad that the officers recovered from their injuries because this story could've had s different outcome.
