Alaska Discovery May Solve Mystery - Corsica Steding

Last Saturday night, someone driving down a wooded trail in the city Kenai found clothing and possible human remains.  Police said: "A very preliminary scene assessment has revealed information that points to the Kenai family that turned up missing in May of 2014. Items that were observed at the scene appear to match items identified as missing from the residence."  The FBI has been looking into the case for about a year now and will help the local police department investigate. The missing family consisted of Brandon Jividen, 38; Rebecca Adams, 23; Michelle Hundley, 6; Jaracca Hundley, 3; and the family's dog, Sparks.

Holly Yan wrote this article on March 23rd for CNN.  Before reading this article, I hadn't heard anything about the case.  It's surprising that it took almost a year for the discovery to be made.  This article was written to inform the public of the new discovery in the case.  I sincerely hope that they discover how this family went missing.  I also hope that whoever is responsible for it is brought to justice.

  1. While it is surprising that it took them this long to make the discovery, it's not uncommon, sadly. Missing persons reports can sometimes go years without having anything of this sort - but at least friends of that family will be able to find some closure with the news.

  2. Wow, almost a year. Although, luckily, they are making a break on this case, and will be able to find out exactly what happened to this young family.
