Teenagers Build A mini Rollercoaster! Montana dalton 2nd

In Idaho Falls, Idaho,a group of teenage boys where given a budget of 50 dollars and decided they'd make a roller coaster. Its functional and safe and reaches about 50 feet long! They,Austin Twede and Porter Harding, both 19, took it as a challenge from their mother who believed they would fail with only a budget of 50 dollars. How ever, these adrenaline inclined boys made it happen and now has made the news.

I see this as a development of activity within children in todays society. While many kids spend either 4 or more hours on technology a day, these young boys are actually going outside and experiencing thrill. These kids are getting exercise physically and mentally. Brainstorming on finances, and construction with an outcome which excited them all.

  1. This story is a really nice one to hear about. I agree that technology has overtaken peoples' lives these days, which takes away from them living their lives and experiencing things. It's really nice to hear a story about boys who take up a challenge and desire so much to succeed in it.

  2. That's so cool! Some people might see this as just some stupid kids seeking a thrill, but that actually takes a lot of math and physics knowledge to build a functional rollercoaster, and its even more impressive that they did it for under $50! Can you imagine being like, "Hey! Party at my house! We can all ride my rollercoaster!"?
