After getting dumped and kicked out of her ex-boyfriend's house, Amanda Pollard retaliated by putting poisonous rat pellets in his coffee and placed a severed electric blanket cord in his bed. Pollard informed a friend of her plan who in turn informed the police. Pollard was stopped before any real harm could be done.
