Jeff Sessions has ordered a review of the guns background checking system because a shooter was able to get a gun when he shouldn’t have. And since he got that gun he caused the church shooting in Texas, leaving 26 dead. He shouldn't have been able to because he has a domestic assault charge on his background and when you have those you can get/ buy a gun.
I think it’s great that he is going back and checking over the checking systems for guns because there have been lots of bad incidents involving them in the past year and years. The checking system for owning a gun should be taken very seriously because you don't want them going in the wrong hands. So it makes me very happy when i see someone going back and making sure if we need to update/fix the checking system with the guns.
