Deep South Snowstorm-Ashley Mendoza

After a winter snowstorm, Deep South,Atlanta was left with no power. At least 18,500 homes and businesses were affected with several inches of snow surrounding. And they're aren't the only ones affected Louisiana(with 1,000),Alabama(with 500), and Mississippi(with 700) several people are waiting for the power to come back.
It reminds me of how devastated the South was after the Civil War, and ow it had to wait awhile before it could begin to reconstruct/rebuild itself.

  1. This reminds me of a personal experience. In July of this year, I was here in Dallas for a retreat when my mom was in San Angelo. A huge storm had hit and damaged the whole city. I was scared because I didn't know if she was hurt or anything. The power was off and so were the phone lines. What do you think could be done to help speed up the process of recovery from these tragedies
