Allison Majors 12/11

The car doors belonging to a couple’s car were stolen in a matter of minutes overnight in Baltimore. The thefts didn’t steal anything inside of the car and left it looking exactly the same except with two doors missing. The cleanliness of their theft makes the couple assume that these were professionals and that they had specifically targeted their car. This same occurrence has also happened at a place less than a mile away. A woman’s car doors were taken off in two minutes without any other damages being made.
It baffles me that someone would steal car doors. First of all, car doors are huge and it seems like it would be hard to go unnoticed while stealing them. Second of all, what use will it do a person? A car door theft is probably not an average person and is doing it for an important reason. This article was written to warn us about thefts and remind us to protect our belongings. Sometimes there is nothing we can do in a certain situation, but we can still be smart about the actions that we take.

  1. That is such a petty thing to do, to steal car doors. I guess maybe they planned on using the parts for other cars.

  2. Why would some steal car doors? That blows my mind, I agree maybe they used it for parts somewhere.
