The name Liam jumped from 75 in 2008 to 49 in 2009 and has been rising fast ever since. Actor Liam Hemsworth started his acting career in Australian TV before his breakthrough role in the hit film "The Hunger Games" in 2012.

Mrs. Countryman...This one is for you, well of course you already have a name for your child ...but I think this suits the coming of the baby pretty well. So the new king of names shall be Noah, based off of Ryan Gosling's starring role in the notebook. Noah unseated long time favorites, Jacob and Micheal to take the top spot for boys names. Noah and Sophia were the top baby names in 2013, or so Social Security says. Jayceon and Daleyza were the fastest-rising names for boys and girls, respectively. The top 10 names for boys were Liam, Jacob, Mason, William, Ethan, Micheal, Alexander, Jayden and Daniel. The top names for girls were Emma, Olivia, Isabella, Ava, Mia, Emily, Abigail, Madison, and Elizabeth. Sofia with an "f" held the top spot for girls names for the third year in the row. Interesting, wonder what 2014 will be.
This was interesting for me being that my name is unique as well as some others, as a matter of fact everyone's name is unique,...but hey moms, let this serve as ideas for babies in the future yes? I personally think that my daughter's name will not be one of these. oh well...what do yall think? My favorite boy names are Liam and Jayden....Girls names Ava, Mia, and Sofia. What are yours?

Peace,

  1. hmm,., baby names constantly remind me 1- how much I do not like these popular names, but refuse to have some pretentious name like "Apple" 2- how I DONT WANT GIRLS they are too much too handle (plus I prefer boy names). also, dalezya? interesting.

  2. While naming a baby is primarily up to the parents, some of the names that certain celebrities give their children have the obvious indications of them trying to bring attention to themselves. Also, a parent should keep in mind how that name might affect the baby for it will be with him/her for the rest of his/her life (unless there is a name change of course).
