Dallas man charged with child trafficking: Devon Travis

Ladarin Franklin, a 32-year old Dallas native, was arrested for child trafficking after accused of luring a 13-year old girl to run away from home and become a prostitute. The teen met Franklin over a social media site (mocospace?) where people can chat online; Franklin persuaded the teen to leave her family and become a prostitute, and she stayed in various motels for three months with Franklin as her pimp. Police officials found her and another woman in an ad for "sexy immaculate skills", and the women admitted to working with franklin. He was then charged with trafficking and child prostitution.

Isn't it crazy that this happened.. in Dallas, literally 15 minutes away from the school? What if some girl in your science class was suddenly gone because she decided to become a prostitute? Doesn't society have higher standards and expectations by now? This is all very sad, I feel bad for the girl put into prostitution, but she brought it on herself. SHE LEFT HOME BECAUSE OF THIS MAN; what happened to stranger danger???

please no one become victim to child prostitution. mout

  1. Apparently, sex trafficking is really bad here in Dallas. This fact is really disturbing, but at least they caught this guy.
