Tennessee county's commissioners vote against raising Confederate flag Kiyanna Elliott

Summary: On Monday, Greene County, Tennessee commissioners weighed in on whether to fly the Rebel flag above the courthouse there, but the proposal didn't pass at the  meeting, with 20 votes against the measure and just one vote for it.

Analysis: This is part of the history that we should be putting in history books to be acknowledge that it had an impact once but now doesn't and then put into the back of our mind. Unfortunately, by example of this article, it is all too relevant. We should be bringing up the good in the time slavery and later systematic racism like the underground railroad not worrying about flying some racist and oppressive piece of fabric. I'll go crazy if I see another article or news story on this and I won't be summarizing or commenting about it either after this.
