Hurricane Patricia on the coast of Mexico
Patricia is known to be one of the most strongest and dangerous hurricanes recorded . The hurricane began at Mexico's Pacific coast while thousands of people evacuating many tourist leaving luxury beach resorts. Patricia moving at a speed of 165 miles per hour with winds so powerful that uprooted trees and toppled power lines, heavy rains unleashed mudslides. On the bright side things "Patricia had degenerated into a remnant area of low pressure, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center."

Hurricane Patricia is very scary. Many people should be concerned if they're not already. Mexico is very lucky to have so may shelters willing to allow thousands of homeless people in. I am very happy and thankful that we have such a developed warning system and evacuation system. Madeline Jones 4th period

ReplyDeleteHurricane Patricia is very scary. At least the people who have no where to find shelter have shelter provided by Mexico. Hopefully, they won't endure as many loses as Hurricane Katrina did to us.

It is very sad to think that many people lost their homes and many died. Hurricanes are horrible things that destroy.
