We can compare this event to the "death" of British control over America. When writing the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution, all writers (Jefferson,Franklin,Adams,etc.) kept in mind that these documents serve the purpose for the well being of our country in the present and future.

Cassidy Jones Reports on "Death of Klondike"
What would you doooooo for a Klondike bear? Well, you should be crying. This past week, October 23, 2015, Klondike, the oldest polar bear in the United States died at the age of 34.The Philadelphia Zoo staff had noticed a downfall in her ability to stand or walk over the past 2 weeks, and in her best interest, the staff decided to humanly euthanize Klondike.
