This event reminds me of the 60s when there were lots of social issues going on with police brutality, racism, and gay ights. People wanted the president to stop U.S. involvement in Vietnam. so many soldiers were dying and yet we still had problems back home. This picture symbolizes that not only was there pain on ou end, with numerous U.S. citizen dying, but the fact that their people suffered as well.

While violence in America was definitely prominent, I don't think that we can forget about where the worst actually took place. There was lots of unnecessary violence in Vietnam, and American blood committed unspeakable crimes in Vietnam.
