Oklahoma State homecoming crash: Injured victims' families wait for word by M'Lynn Musgrove

At a homecoming parade for at OSU, a freak drunk driving accident resulted in many injuries and deaths of innocent parade watchers. The cars driver has been arrested since this time. Apparently, it happened at the end of the parade route. It also apparently happened very suddenly which explains the extreme number of injuries. There was no time for a reaction. One moment everything was okay and the next, many families lives were forever charged.
Although there are many laws against drinking and driving, there is no actual prevention of it before it happens. There is no way to stop a person from putting themselves and other people in danger before it happens. This is one of those situations that does not make sense. Why should innocent people have to die due to one reckless person's mistake?

  1. That's sp sad. Drinking and driving has been a serious issue for a while and we have done nothing to prevent it. Sadly things like this have to happen until someone opens their eyes and realixes we need to make a change somehow. There should really be a limit on the amount of alvohol you buy or have at a bar. Something liuke this might have to happen if we want to keep people safe
