More than 200 eighth graders allowed their social medias to be studied by child development experts. This was big study to see if kids are addicted to social media. The study was at eight different schools around the country. They collected information from their instagrams, facebook, and twitter accounts, of course with their parents permission. The heaviest social media users admitted to check their accounts more than 100 times a day, even during class. Researchers say that the teenagers not just follow their friends, but their enemy's too. They also say that the kids post what they would never say in real life to another person.
I think that more kids our age are getting addicted to social media. It's kinda sad that even smaller kids are getting addicted and they're forgetting how to play outside. People need to smell the roses every once in a while.
