Hillary Clinton gets choked up discussing gun control
Less than one week after the deadly shooting at the Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon Hillary Clinton on Monday unveiled a series of gun control measures she would enact as president, including renewed calls for universal background checks and a crackdown on the sale of guns on the Internet. Following Hillary got emotional while introducing a mother whose child was killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting.
This article talks about Hillary Clinton’s stance on gun control. Gun control is a highly controversial issue. The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” A lot of people enforce the beliefs of the constitution because it goes with our unalienable rights. It could easily be argued as well, that it is our RIGHT to keep and bear arms that keeps the murder rate per capita from being higher.
