Apple bans hundreds of apps, again -Avery Yoss
This week, apple banned hundreds of apps because they secretly gathered personal information. The apps were made in China, with this software called Youmi that allowed ads to be put on the apps, which is okay. But the apps were also asking people for their email addresses and iPhone serial numbers. The company told Apple about this problem and Apple immediately removed the apps.
This is not the first time this happened to Apple this month, last week Apple had to remove a lot of apps that were able to see the communication between the iPhone and the user. And in late September, Apple had remove a bunch of popular apps because they were infected by malware. This made the users give up their iCloud passwords and open a lot of dangerous sites on their phone. Apple has been facing a lot a damage recently.

This is really scary. It really makes you realize how dangerous technology has become. I hope that Apple will be able to find a way to prevent this in the future.
