Lesly Marquez- Sri Lanka bans burqas for protection

Summary:

About a week ago I wrote about a bombing attack in some of Sri Lanka's churches' and hotels filled with people who were celebrating Easter. This article was basically an update to that current event. Recently the president of  Sri Lanka has announced that he was banning the use of burqas for safety purposes. He believe that even tho this piece of clothing is traditional for muslim women it is also a danger to many. Without burqas security will be able to identify criminals a lot easier without having to worry about anyone disguising themselves and taking cover. He said this action will take place starting on Monday and that it is highly important because he knows there are more criminals out there who are willing to do more damage.

Analysis:

Although I know burqas are traditional for muslim women I agree with the president. I think that without them they will be able to identify criminals much more easier and I'm glad he decided to take action and do this. I believe it was great idea and although it is something to get use to it was well needed. We never know wether the person we meet next is gonna be dangerous or not  or wether we are in the wrong place at the wrong time and that is just something that I personally got out of this.
