Youssef Bakr-- "Migrant caravan: What is it and why does it matter?"

The article goes over general information concerning the recent issue of Central American migrant caravans. They note that:
-the majority of them are from Honduras, although tere are also some from Guatemaka and Honduras
-more than 7,000 have already arrived at the U.S. border
-they have traveled more than 2,700 miles
-most say they want to build a better future for themselves and their families

A similar event took place during the mid nineteenth century. The Irish arrived in large numbers and traveled a great distnce to reach their desitnation. They came because of economic crisis, oppression and famine.
