California high school teacher by the name of , Margaret Gieszinger 52 , was let go by University preparatory high school because of a video that was posted which shows her forcefully cutting off a students hair while singing a false version of the national anthem and then going after another student. Margaret could serve up to 3 1/2 years in prison if convicted of all crimes against her.
To be really honest from watching that video all I see is a crazy women trying to exert power over children. I don’t understand how a person could put that much fear into a child. I don’t think anyone should ever think that they deserve to have that much power over anyone to do anything sinister.
I think this really comes down to how people feel when they have a weapon. Police , school shooters , every day people. A clear example is the man who got show in Alabama , and the guy who confessed to so many murders at 78. People feel powerful when they have something in possession that can hurt someone or multiples. What they don’t understand is that that pain can come right back to them.

This is such a disturbing and strange incident, especially the way in which she seemed to threaten the students with the scissors and potential haircut. I remain in question, wondering what exactly could have caused this.
ReplyDeleteThis is crazy to hear about.I agree that nobody should ever think they should have that amount of power. -Lesly Marquez
ReplyDeleteThat's the problem she is abusing her power that she is given!
DeleteI just want to congratulate the mom for not completely losing her mind and almost killing the teacher. This is absolutely unacceptable as a teacher and adult you should respect your student and the same respect should be given by your students.
ReplyDeleteThis situation reminds me of when Native Americans had their long hair and brids cut off and were whitewashed to be "civilized" and "integrated into society"
ReplyDeleteI agree, this just a modern version of it, but luckily the right actions are being taken to make her responsible for her inappropriate behavior. I hope the teen isn’t traumatized or feeling some type of way because of it.
