At the State University of New York, many "Nazi -Themed" posters were found around the campus on Sunday December 9, 2018. The campus officers kept investigating the act since it was committed the day of Hanukkah . The posters that were around the school contained images of Adolf Hitler and Swastikas. SUNY Purchase media relations specialist, told abc News that ''the posters and any messages of anti - Semitism and intolerance , go against our core values of diversity, acceptance and understanding .At Purchase ,we are committed to ensuring that all members of the community are accepted and welcome , regardless of race, religion , ethnicity , gender, sexual orientation , background ,or identity.'' The campus officers still don't know who was behind the act.
This article was written by Julia Jacobo and published by abcNews on December 10, 2018. I didn't know this was happening in a college campus that it's supposed to be safe for everyone . This is really sad because it brings back the times of the Holocaust and how many Jews died and suffered through that time . This article was written to inform the public about this act and how the campus staff/police officers reacted to it . The author believes that this wasn't right to do especially at this point of time as many people are open with their believes , sexual orientation ,ect. This article is meant to reach the students in the campus and make them reflect on what happened and for the people that did it , will soon get some sort of punishment for the act. This shows the importance of respect .
