This article was written by Annie Rose Ramos, Kalhan Rosenblatt and Elisha Fieldstadt apart of NBC News. This article was written to inform all about the dangers of the winter storms. This relates to the cold winters spent in Jamestown. In 1607 when the settlers came to Jamestown they were not expecting the long cold winter. By the end of winter only 38 out of 104 settlers survived from the cold, brutal winter. Furthermore, the article is important because we are able to understand the dangers brought by a storm.
