It's been reported that a heavy snowstorm has came through the US south eastern states leaving 3 casualties, and people without power. It's reported that some areas in NC have .5m of snow. One man died during the storm after a tree fell on his car. The corpse and car were found in a river. Flights all over the region were cancelled. A man in Charlotte was also killed when a tree fell on his car. A woman in the western part of the state also passed while in hospice care. Another person died due to some sort of heart condition near the Winston-Salem region.
This is really scary and sad to hear how people are dying, and being put into really bad circumstances due to the war. This almost reminds of me of the trail of tears except people weren't forced in to these circumstances. I hope that the snowstorm doesn't get worst and end up with more casualties and injuries.
Emma Burkey: Another tragedy to strike this year is more than our nation can take. I hope that the deaths stop and that we are able to help in some way those who have been affected by this horrible storm.
