Lena Dunham's apology doesn't go over to well

A while back when Lena Dunham's co worker accused the writer and producer Murey Miller of rape, Dunham defended Miller claiming that she insider knowledge that allowed her to know who Miller was and she knew he wasn't capable of doing something like this. Many called her out for her hypocritical statement because she had previously tweeted about people needing to believe rape victims. She earlier this week admitted her fault and apologized, however many were not content with her overdue apology.
In her apology she made the whole thing about her, claiming that this whole experience gave her incredible growth and evolution. I think everyone says stupid things and as long as they learn from it however I don't know what she could've possibly learned from this other than don't be a hypocrite and stand by your own words not justg when it's convenient. I think this is a great example of some people liking to antagonize others but when it comes down to it they might be just as guilty.
