In States They Lost, Some GOP Lawmakers Rush To Limit New Democrats' Power -- Mary Kate Madden

In Wisconsin, Republicans have passed a set of bills to limit incoming Democrats' power. As of last month, the governor and the attorney general jobs are taken by Democrats. Republican lawmakers are  set to vote on laws that would limit Tony Evers' power in office. This includes limiting early voting and making sure the state can't withdraw from a lawsuit to repeal Obamacare. The bills passed on December 5th and its going to the governor to be signed into law.

This is related to North Carolina in 2016 when Republican legislators tried to curb Democratic governor Cooper's authority last year. I think this is morally wrong because the legislature is trying to go behind the back of the voters. The voters elected someone and the legislature should respect that.
