36 year old, Carla Stefaniak, is the lady everyone is talking about right now. Carla was suppouse to be having the time of her life celebrating her 36th birthday with her sister in law in Costa Rico and go back home safely a day after her sister in law left until things turned around. Authorities aren't really sure what happened, the last time she was seen was getting into an unknown car at 5 in the morning the day she was scheduled to leave even though her flight wasn't till 1 and the last time anybody has talked to her was the night before she left Costa Rica. CNN provides a timeline of her day the day before she went missing and one thing that stood out was her describing where she was staying "Super Sketch".
I can't even describe how scary this situation is, she was literally having the time of her life and like that her life is gone. This just shows that you it doesn't matter how old you can be to be a target to someone, I can't even imagine whats going through the families head, I hope they find all evidence they need to solve the case and that the family heals.

It is really sad that this girl just wanted to celebrate her birthday, but instead she was kidnapped, or worse, murdered/injured. I wish her family the best of luck in finding her, and I pray that she is returned to them safely.
ReplyDeleteI wonder about more of the details surrounding this situation. How did she get herself into this so called "super sketch" place to stay? How is the case currently being investigated? But most importantly, how is her family feeling?
