Ashley Olsen was a normal girl from Florida that moved to Italy only 2 years ago to "start her life over" after a divorce. After a fight with her boyfriend, she spent the next three days not speaking to him. The boyfriend tried to contact her multiple times with no response. Because he was worried he called the landlord and convinced him to let him in the apartment. When the door was opened, they found her body. Her neck was covered in bruises and scratches and she had no clothes on. After her boyfriend and close friends were interviewed, the police released that there were no suspects and that they had no idea would have done this.
To me it seems suspicious that the couple had a fight right before she was murdered. How can the boyfriend not be a suspect? Her being a U.S. citizen reminds me of the case of Amanda Knox who allegedly murdered her roommate and the court cases couldn't ever find a suspect. I think it will be interesting to see where this case goes during trial.
